The ADL claims "humanitarian reasons". What humanitarian reasons? The letters written by both Israeli and American Jewish leaders requesting a pardon for Rich, who is a Jew, often cited Rich's philanthropy in Israel and the America. The fact that Rich contributed $ 80 million of stolen money to Israeli organizations and also made large donations to American Jewish organizations certainly played a role in the Jews urging the eleventh-hour pardon from Clinton. In the corrupt Jewish culture, taking "dirty" money as bribes is acceptable. However, does it make sense that Jews would go to bat for Rich for his "philanthropy" alone, since Rich traded illegally not only with Iran, but with Iraq and Libya, rogue states devoted to Israel's destruction?
President Clinton said he granted his controversial pardon to Rich, in part, because Israel's former Prime Minister Ehud Barak repeatedly pressed him to do so as a reward for Rich's "clandestine services to Israeli intelligence", in other words spying for the Mossad. The real reason why the Jews sought a pardon for Rich was to reward his "clandestine services" to Israel, which included spying on the United States and the American people. Rich did absolutely nothing for America, in fact, he did harm. What he did was spy for Israel. So, why was the ADL so anxious that Rich be given a pardon to reward him for his spying for Isreal? Because, if the ADL did not actively support and seek pardons for traitors, like Marc Rich and Jonathan Pollard, it would be difficult for the ADL and the Mossad to recruit other Americans to spy for Isreal.
Israel's involvement in the Rich pardon has tainted the Presidency of the United States and the very foundations of American democracy. Israel's contemptuous behavior towards America, not only in the Rich affair, but also in the Samuel Sheinbein murder case in which a U.S. citizen fled to Israel to escape murder charges plus other insolent incidents, must force a reassessment of America's moral and financial commitment to Israel. America has become an Israeli pawn in which the American people's undeserved empathy for the Jews is being used against them, so that Israel can commit espionage against America. How much longer can the Jews milk the sympathy of the American people for the "Holocaust"—which the Jews brought down on themselves because of Jews like Marc Rich—before Americans realize that they are being taken advantage of and being conned?
A former assistant U.S. attorney said of Marc Rich's unethical business practices, "He will trade with anybody who will trade with him. That tells you something about the guy." The quote also tells you something about the Jews who dealt with Marc Rich. The fact that Israeli Jews and the Mossad have the power to negatively influence the decisions of an American President shows just how profoundly corrupting they are and how far their corruption can reach. The entire U.S. government is permeated with their greed, as is our economic system and financial markets. America's close relationship with Israel has become a detriment to the best interests of America and an embarrassment to the American people. The time has come to end it!

The Anti-Defamation League accepted $ 250,000 from Marc Rich over the past 16 years, including $ 100,000 pledged a few weeks before ADL national director Abraham Foxman broached the idea of a presidential pardon, Foxman said on Friday. He was speaking at a press conference called to explain Rich's involvement with the organization and Foxman's reasons for writing a letter to former president Bill Clinton requesting a pardon for Rich. "It never dawned on me that anyone would think I was bought by Marc Rich, " Foxman told reporters. "I continue to be astounded," he continued. In recent days, at least one Bill Clinton operative has been calling journalists with a message: The ex-President didn't really want to pardon Marc Rich. The Israelis or the Mossad or the Jews made him do it. This is nonsense. Clinton pardoned Rich for his own benefit. But the effort of Rich's strategists to turn their client into a modern-day Alfred Dreyfus - with the active connivance of some of the world's most prominent Jewish personalities and institutions - is a scandal in its own right. In last week's congressional probe into the Rich affair, Abraham Foxman's name came up. He was mentioned in internal memos of the Free Marc Rich team as a man who could be helpful. "Who is he?" asked Rep. Dan Burton (R-Ind.). "He's a senior official of some American Jewish organization," said Rich lawyer Jack Quinn. "I'm not sure which one." Foxman is the national director of the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith, America's most prestigious Jewish group. He wrote an official ADL letter to Clinton, asking him to pardon Rich. I called the ADL to ask why its director had intervened with the President of the United States on behalf of a master swindler and member in good standing of the FBI's most wanted list. "Humanitarian reasons," a spokeswoman told me. What possible humanitarian reason, I wondered, could there be to pardon a billionaire who lives in a Swiss castle and flies around the world in his own jet? President Bill Clinton granted his controversial pardon to fugitive financier Marc Rich in part because Israel's prime minister repeatedly pressed him to do so as a reward for Rich's clandestine services to Israeli intelligence. Although the flap surrounding the former president has focused primarily on large donations from Rich's ex-wife, Denise, to the Democratic Party, to Clinton's presidential library and to the Senate campaign of his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Israeli pressure raised national security and foreign policy concerns at the White House. U.S. Attorney Mary Jo White in New York reportedly has opened a criminal investigation into Clinton's pardon of Rich to determine whether any illegal contributions were made to help secure it. If Denise Rich's contributions to U.S. political campaigns or parties were reimbursed, either by her ex-husband or by Israel, that would be illegal. On its face, Israeli support for Rich might seem curious, since Rich did extensive business with Iran and Iraq, two of Israel's mortal enemies, in apparent violation of U.S. law. But it turns out that Rich used his business contacts throughout the Arab world to pass intelligence to Israel's foreign intelligence service, the Mossad, and to top Israeli officials.
Vincent Cannistraro, a former Middle East expert with the Central Intelligence Agency, said the Mossad used Rich as a 'conduit for financial transfers' and to pass messages to Iran when necessary. 'He is a very wealthy man, so he is not on the payroll per se,' Cannistraro said. 'He was a very close friend of the Israeli government and has been cooperating with Israeli intelligence since the early 1980s. [click here to continue]

The House Government Reform Committee, which plans a hearing Thursday on the pardon, is looking into tips it received that Rich may have provided intelligence data to Israel and others, the House source said Monday. Rich has been based in Switzerland since 1983, just before he was indicted in the United States, accused of tax evasion of more than $ 48 million, fraud and participating in illegal oil deals with Iran. In 1984, the U.S. Justice Department sent a "red notice" to its Israeli counterpart demanding that it arrest fugitive financier Marc Rich, an Israeli citizen thanks to the Jewish state's "right of return" law, the next time he visited the country. In 1994, Israel's Ministry of Justice formally replied to the U.S. request: "No." Michael Ben-Yair, who was then Israel's attorney general and chief legal advisor to the government, explained his decision last week."The 'red notice' was not followed by an extradition request or a copy of the charges and affidavits," he said. "We considered the issue and found it had no legal validity. The charges against Mr. Rich were fiscal and not fraud, and, therefore, the extradition treaty between the two countries did not cover his case." But sources in the Ministry of Justice tell a different story. According to them, Rich paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to several prominent Israeli lawyers to use their influence and contacts on his behalf. Among them were Avner Hai-Shaki, a former minister of religion; Yaacov Neeman, who later became finance minister; and Amnon Goldenberg, an external legal advisor to the Mossad, Israel's foreign espionage agency. The U.S. Justice Department protested the Israeli decision, to no avail. Israel remained firm. Rich would not be arrested. The word from "sources close" to Ehud Barak is that the lame-duck Israeli prime minister is outraged by former President Bill Clinton's attempt to pin the blame for the Marc Rich pardon on him. There's no doubt that this is exactly what Clinton is trying to do. For weeks, his operatives have carried out a "Barak-made-me-do-it" whispering campaign. Sunday, Clinton pal James Carville turned up the volume: "The President had just gone through a long, tortuous, important process with the Israelis - Prime Minister Barak, former ... Prime Minister [Shimon] Peres ... and he wanted to help them." Carville wasn't lying. Barak called Clinton on Rich's behalf. So did Peres. Other Rich advocates include Foreign Minister Shlomo Ben-Ami, Speaker of the Knesset Avraham Burg, Jerusalem Mayor Ehud Olmert, ex-Mossad chief Most American Jewish spokesmen (with the very honorable exception of Rabbi Eric Yoffie of the Reform movement) would like to ignore the Israeli connection. The party line was issued two weeks ago by Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations: "I think that what's unfortunate ... is that Israel is thrust in the middle of what is seen in America as a very negative issue." Lawyers and advisers to the financier Marc Rich joined his former wife in choreographing a complex legal and political campaign to win a last-minute pardon from President Bill Clinton, whose own legal advisers opposed the pardon, newly released documents and interviews show.The effort, which drew in operatives in Israel and Switzerland as well as a Washington team that included a former finance chairman of the Democratic National Committee, culminated in Mr. Clinton's granting a pardon that has raised questions of improper influence. The Rich pardon was the subject of a confrontational Congressional hearing on Thursday, with more hearings planned. A spokesman for the House Committee on Government Reform said today that the panel would issue subpoenas next week for the bank records of Denise Rich and the list of donors to the Clinton library after Ms. Rich's lawyer disclosed that Ms. Rich had contributed to the library. "In every investigation of this sort where money is involved or contributions are involved," the spokesman, Mark Corallo, said, "the only way to establish any kind of causal relationship is to look at bank records." Ms. Rich, who refused to testify at the hearing and cited her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination, played a larger role in the effort than previously known, the documents show, although much of it was done at the urging of her former husband's lawyers. Besides writing at least one letter to Mr. Clinton in support of her ex-husband's pardon, and following up with a phone call, Ms. Rich also buttonholed Mr. Clinton about the pardon at a White House party on Dec. 20 after wresting him away from Barbra Streisand, a witness said. Exactly two weeks before a controversial last-minute presidential pardon made him a household name in the US, Marc Rich was sitting in the VIP section at a mega-event for Birthright Israel in Jerusalem. Surrounded by thousands of young, primarily North American Jews on free trips to Israel, Rich, one of 14 people who have pledged $ 5 million to the program, was apparently moved to tears. "He loves Israel, you could see that he was so turned on being there," says one Birthright official who sat near him at the event. A commodities trader, Rich was pardoned by former US president Bill Clinton on January 20 during his last hours in office. He had been indicted on 51 counts of tax evasion, racketeering and violating trade sanctions with Iran, but fled to Switzerland in 1983 before standing trial. In addition to raising questions about Clinton's judgment, the case has thrown an uncomfortable spotlight on the many Jewish and Israeli causes, such as Birthright Israel, that Rich supported. There is a word in the Yiddish language, the tongue of the long-dispersedJews of Europe, which is pronounced shondah. It means "shame"or "disgrace." It is supposed to be reserved for serious moral transgressions, and I believe it's justified right now for what two prominent fellow Jews have done in the Marc Rich scandal that has now so embarrassed the nation. Rich, whose career I have followed for some time in my life as a tracker of financial fraud, has been credibly accused of major-league income-tax violations, violations of law about oil pricing, trading with such evil regimes as Iran's and, of course, fleeing the United States to avoid due process of law. Some shame attaches to former deputy attorney general Eric Holder for "leaning toward" a pardon when there was at least an appearance that such a tilt might have helped him win the attorney general's job if Al Gore had become president. Holder acknowledges discussing the possibility of getting that top Justice job with former Clinton White House counsel Jack Quinn -- Rich's lawyer in his pardon case -- but he denies a connection between his own ambitions and the Rich pardon. And lots of shame attaches to the Clintons, who apparently willsell anything they can. But the really embarrassing moral disgrace attaches itself to, first, the chairman of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council, Rabbi Irving Greenberg, who wrote Clinton urging a pardon for Rich, and to Ehud Barak, who while prime minister of Israel likewise solicited Clinton. Former President Bill Clinton's last-minute pardon of fugitive financier Marc Rich has embittered the wife and supporters of Jonathan Pollard, charging that support for Rich from top Israeli officials and prominent American Jews came at the expense of a pardon for the imprisoned spy who worked for Israel. "A very clear message was sent about which (case) was going to make a difference to the government of Israel and the American Jewish establishment," said Pollard's wife, Esther, in an interview from Toronto. In the weeks leading up to the Rich pardon, Prime Minister Ehud Barak and former Prime Minister Shimon Peres weighed in with Clinton on Rich's behalf. Recommendations for a pardon also came from a former chief of the Mossad spy agency, Shabtai Shavit, and Jerusalem Mayor Ehud Olmert. Clinton told a television call-in show Thursday that "Israel did influence me profoundly" in deciding to grant the pardon. A congressional panel and the U.S. Justice Department are also looking into whether Clinton was influenced by a large donation from Rich's former wife to Hillary Clinton's Senate campaign and a pledge by her to give $ 450,000 to Clinton's presidential library. Information released by a congressional committee shows that Rich's associates also cast a wide net for help from American Jewish leaders, including Rabbi Irving Greenberg, chairman of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council, and Marlene E. Post, chairwoman of Birthright Israel, which subsidizes mass trips to Israeli for American Jewish college students. Pollard was frequently mentioned as one of those whom Clinton might pardon in one of his final acts before leaving office Jan. 20, although U.S. national security agencies have consistently opposed freeing him. A former U.S. Navy intelligence analyst, Pollard was sentenced to life in prison in March 1987 for selling secrets to Israel in a case that caused major strains between the United States and the Jewish state. An American teenager was jailed for 24 years in Tel Aviv yesterday for killing and dismembering an Hispanic acquaintance in Maryland. Samuel Sheinbein, 19, fled to Israel shortly after killing Alfredo Enrique Tello, 19, near Washington DC two years ago. He was sentenced under a plea bargain that will allow him to be released in 16 years. The courts had barred his extradition to America, accepting his claim to Israeli citizenship because his father was born in Palestine. His flight from America and plea bargain strained Israel's relations with American authorities and the American Hispanic community and prompted protests from senior officials, including the Attorney General, Janet Reno.
